How we’re funded

Scrublands is reader-backed and ad-supported with hard lines:

• Members keep us open.

• Sponsors are labeled, don’t get copy approval, and can’t buy a review.

• Affiliate links may appear occasionally; we disclose them and still tell you if the product stinks.

Editorial standards

• Accuracy first. We publish corrections promptly at the top or bottom of the piece and keep a public change log.

• Voice with spine. Writers own their opinions; editors enforce clarity and fairness.

• No astroturf. We don’t launder press releases.
